Knee and Hip Pain in Jupiter, FL

The joints that carry you, assessed as part of a whole chain.

About Knee & Hip Pain

Understanding Knee & Hip Pain

The hip and knee work as part of a chain that runs from the foot to the pelvis and low back. Pain in one link very often reflects what is happening in another: hip stiffness loads the knee, an old ankle injury changes how you push off, and low back problems can refer pain into the hip and thigh.

Causes range from wear-related joint change to tendon and bursa irritation, muscle imbalance or an old injury that never fully settled.

Knee and hip pain are listed among the areas Dr. Newmark's Jupiter practice focuses on.

  • Pain on stairs, squatting or getting out of a chair

How we help

Knee & Hip Pain at our Jupiter office

The examination looks at the painful joint and at the chain around it: range of motion, muscle strength and more through the hip, knee, ankle and low back. Existing imaging is reviewed if you have it.

The report of findings sets out what was found and how to address it. Strength and balance training and therapeutic exercise are part of what the practice offers and often matter as much as hands-on care for weight-bearing joints.

When to seek medical care first

Inability to bear weight after an injury, a knee or hip that gives way, or a hot swollen joint with fever needs prompt medical assessment.

Payment options

Back to Health is committed to ensuring chiropractic care is accessible to you and your loved ones. We accept Medicare, but Medicare does not cover all charges in a chiropractic office.

We do not submit claims to private health insurance providers. If you opt to request reimbursement from your insurance provider, we can provide an itemized document. With this, you can submit the documentation to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement of services.

By eliminating costly and labor-intensive follow-up communication related to insurance claims, we can lower administrative costs. This lower overhead means lower cost visits for patients.

What our patients say

In our patients' own words

A few of the reviews shared by people treated at our Jupiter office.

Roy A.
Dr. Newmark has the ability to truly feel what her patients are experiencing and a keen understanding of how to treat each one individually. She is a true healer and has really helped me overcome back challenges, I highly recommend her.
Paul H.
Dr. Paula Newmark is amazing! Previous chiropractors made me "sore" from a visit. I have been rear ended three times in 7 years and I only go when needed. She isn't one of those "come every week" type. She is come when you need me. I can't thank her enough for her caring and talent.
Erik K.
My treatment with Dr Newmark has had terrific results. Dr Newmark has helped me get back to a normal life of golfing and doing things I haven't done in years.
Margot T.
Dr Newmark is a true partner on your journey to better chiropractic health.
Jennifer M.
She is an excellent communicator, and she has truly helped me with my chiropractic needs/health.
Victoria C.
I refer to her time and time again to anyone who will listen to me!
