Joint Pain Care in Jupiter, FL

Finding out which joint, and why, before deciding what to do about it.

About Joint Pain

Understanding Joint Pain

Joint pain can come from the joint surfaces themselves, from the surrounding muscles and tendons, from inflammation, or from the way load is being distributed across a limb or the spine. Wear-related change, previous injury, work demands and activity habits all feed into it.

A joint that hurts is not always the joint at fault. Hip mechanics show up at the knee, and shoulder complaints often trace back to the neck and upper back.

Joint pain is listed among the areas Dr. Newmark's Jupiter practice focuses on.

What patients describe

Symptoms people mention when they come in:

  • Stiffness that is worst in the morning
  • Aching after activity
  • Swelling or warmth around a joint
  • Reduced range of movement
  • Clicking or grinding with movement
  • Pain that has moved or spread

How we help

Joint Pain at our Jupiter office

Dr. Newmark discusses your history and symptoms, then examines range of motion, muscle strength and more, looking at the joint in question and at the joints above and below it. Existing imaging is reviewed if you have it.

The report of findings explains what was found and how to address it. Where useful, care may include therapeutic exercise, strength and balance training or massage therapy alongside chiropractic adjustments.

When to seek medical care first

A hot, swollen, intensely painful joint, particularly with fever, needs urgent medical assessment. So does a joint that will not bear weight after an injury.

Payment options

Back to Health is committed to ensuring chiropractic care is accessible to you and your loved ones. We accept Medicare, but Medicare does not cover all charges in a chiropractic office.

We do not submit claims to private health insurance providers. If you opt to request reimbursement from your insurance provider, we can provide an itemized document. With this, you can submit the documentation to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement of services.

By eliminating costly and labor-intensive follow-up communication related to insurance claims, we can lower administrative costs. This lower overhead means lower cost visits for patients.

What our patients say

In our patients' own words

A few of the reviews shared by people treated at our Jupiter office.

Roy A.
Dr. Newmark has the ability to truly feel what her patients are experiencing and a keen understanding of how to treat each one individually. She is a true healer and has really helped me overcome back challenges, I highly recommend her.
Paul H.
Dr. Paula Newmark is amazing! Previous chiropractors made me "sore" from a visit. I have been rear ended three times in 7 years and I only go when needed. She isn't one of those "come every week" type. She is come when you need me. I can't thank her enough for her caring and talent.
Erik K.
My treatment with Dr Newmark has had terrific results. Dr Newmark has helped me get back to a normal life of golfing and doing things I haven't done in years.
Margot T.
Dr Newmark is a true partner on your journey to better chiropractic health.
Jennifer M.
She is an excellent communicator, and she has truly helped me with my chiropractic needs/health.
Victoria C.
I refer to her time and time again to anyone who will listen to me!
