Wellness Counseling in Jupiter, FL
What care looks like once the thing that brought you in has settled.
About Wellness Counseling
What Wellness Counseling involves
Wellness counseling is the conversation about staying well rather than the one about getting out of pain. It usually begins once the problem that brought you into the office has been addressed and care shifts from treatment toward maintenance and prevention.
The subject matter is broad by design: movement, posture, activity, sleep, nutrition and the specific things that tend to set your particular problem off again. Which of those matter most is individual, which is why it is a conversation rather than a leaflet.
Dr. Paula Newmark, D.C. provides wellness counseling and recommendations at her Jupiter office, drawing on more than 25 years caring for patients in Jupiter, Juno Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.
What this includes
What you can expect as part of this service:
- Recommendations shaped around what your care has already shown
- The specific factors that tend to aggravate your problem
- Movement, activity and recovery discussed together
- Nutrition and lifestyle raised where relevant
- Chiropractic adjustments as needed rather than on a set schedule
How we help
Wellness Counseling at our Jupiter office
Once you are more comfortable, care moves from treatment into maintenance and on to wellness and prevention. Dr. Newmark provides chiropractic adjustments as needed at that stage, alongside wellness counseling and recommendations, and may add instruction in stretching and exercise.
Her whole-person approach looks for the underlying causes of your discomfort and suggests appropriate interventions and lifestyle adjustments, which is a different exercise from managing a symptom while it is acute.
What that looks like in practice varies. Some people want a clear routine to follow, others want to know only which few things actually matter for them. Both are reasonable, and the recommendations are built accordingly.
Keep your other care going
Wellness counseling is general guidance and does not replace routine care from your physician, including screenings and management of any ongoing medical condition.

What our patients say
In our patients' own words
A few of the reviews shared by people treated at our Jupiter office.
Dr. Newmark has the ability to truly feel what her patients are experiencing and a keen understanding of how to treat each one individually. She is a true healer and has really helped me overcome back challenges, I highly recommend her.
Dr. Paula Newmark is amazing! Previous chiropractors made me "sore" from a visit. I have been rear ended three times in 7 years and I only go when needed. She isn't one of those "come every week" type. She is come when you need me. I can't thank her enough for her caring and talent.
My treatment with Dr Newmark has had terrific results. Dr Newmark has helped me get back to a normal life of golfing and doing things I haven't done in years.
Dr Newmark is a true partner on your journey to better chiropractic health.
She is an excellent communicator, and she has truly helped me with my chiropractic needs/health.
I refer to her time and time again to anyone who will listen to me!
